Merle Haggard has cleared up rumors that his recent show cancellations are due to a cancer relapse. The country legend has been in recovery since 2008 but says that he's nearly back to normal health. "It took a long time to get over that surgery. It took the best part of two years and I'm just now feeling like I might be able to reach over and pick up a garbage can with the right arm," he told Rolling Stone before he was recognized at the recent Kennedy Center Honor
