Canceled Sugarland concert could cost big bucks
A Sugarland concert that was canceled last Friday night in Tuscaloosa, Alabama due to storm damage could cost the city $225,000. The band was scheduled to headline the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater when storms ravaged the city, causing damage to 20 neighborhoods. Mayor Walt Maddox made the decision to cancel the concert after all available police and emergency personnel were needed for the storm response. Officials have stated they would like to have the show rescheduled. |
