Eric expected to finish at the top

 

Eric Church‘s highly anticipated third studio album Chief hit stores on Tuesday. Industry insiders are already projecting huge first week sales for the “Homeboy” singer. Billboard.biz reports that he’s on track to debut at No.1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 albums chart with sales between 120,000-130,000. In comparision, Blake Shelton‘s Red River Blue recently debuted atop the Billboard 200 with sales of 116,000 and Chris Young‘s Neon landed at No.4 with sales of more than 72,000.
