Tara raises money for hurricane victims

Tara Oram was part of a home province line-up of artists who performed to help raise over $400,000 for victims of Hurricane Igor Tuesday Oct. 19. Oram joined Hey Rosetta, Billy and The Bruisers, Amelia Curran, The Once, Shanneyganock and The Novaks for the televised concert, We Stand On Guard, held at St. John's Mile One Centre. All monies raised at the event will go to the Canadian Red Cross to assist on-going relief efforts after Hurricane Igor blasted through Newfoundland an Sept. 21.
