The story behind "Mine"

Taylor Swift, who is famous for writing songs about ex-boyfriends, admits that her latest single “Mine” was written about an old flame. “I was reflecting back on a boy I liked at a certain time,” she told Rolling Stone. “The song is about what it would be like if I actually let my guard down.” “Mine” is one of fourteen tracks that Swift penned for her third studio album, Speak Now. While she may have some downtime at the moment, 2010 is about to get really busy with the release of the new album, but Taylor says she’s ready for it. Speak Now hits stores October 25.
