James Otto and his wife Amy welcomed a baby girl into the world last night. Otto’s publicist Jensen Sussman tells The Associated Press that their first child, Ava Katherine Otto, was born at 9:23 p.m. Tuesday (8/24) at a Nashville-area hospital. She weighs 8 lbs., 2 oz. and is 19 1/2 inches long. “Ava Katherine Otto has made her arrival,” Otto Tweeted last night. “She is beautiful & healthy & the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen.” Allison DeMarcus, wife of Rascal Flatts‘ Jay DeMarcus and sister of Amy Otto, also tweeted the news last night. “I’m officially an aunt,” she said.
