Paul helps out Slave Lake

 

Sept 14th's Up from the Ashes concert benefitting Slave Lake Alberta was an amazing success.  "We're gonna do something tonight," said Brandt, smiling from the concert hall's oval stage. "We're gonna show the rest of the world what it means to be Albertan." Joined onstage by High Valley, Paul Brandt spent the evening singing classic hits and new material from his new Give It Away CD, and the Now Box Set. Funds raised during the evening will go to providing lighting, furniture and books for the rebuilding of the interior of the Slave Lake Regional Library, a building burned down in the May 16th fires. In total, $165,000 was raised.
