Jay DeMarcus is a first time dad

Rascal Flatts' bassist Jay DeMarcus became a dad on Friday, December 17, according to The Boot. DeMarcus now joins his bandmates Gary LeVox and Joe Don Rooney, who both already have kids of their own. DeMarcus and his wife Allison have named their new daughter Madeline Leigh. The baby arrived a few weeks earlier than planned. She was expected on January 8. On Saturday Jay tweeted: "It's true! Madeline Leigh DeMarcus was born yesterday at 4:49pm."
