Going too far

So we're gearing up for the big hunt this weekend.  Yup you and the ids will be out collecting all those Easter Eggs...oh wait, sorry, it's Spring Spheres now.  Okay maybe not in Prince George, but Seattle schools ahve made that change as not to offend anyone.  

Is society getting too sensitive, or are we too scared to offend anyone.  I'm thinking the latter because if my kids were in school and someone mentioned a holiday or tradition that wasn't celebrated by my religion, I wouldn't care.  It's not like they're instilling those beliefs on my child so what's the harm?

I say lighten up, they're only chocolate eggs for the kids....and me.
