John receives his biggest award yet

 

Forget winning ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’ John Rich has received another huge accolade that recognizes his charitable endeavors. The singer is the recipient of the first-ever Randy Owen Angels Among Us Award. Rich received the honor at the Country Cares for St. Jude Kids radio seminar, which was held in Memphis this past weekend. The award specifically celebrates a member of the country music community who has demonstrated “immeasurable commitment to kids battling cancer and other deadly diseases at St. Jude.” Rich, who banked $1.4 million for the organization during his ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ stint, certainly embodies all those qualities and is a warrior for the St. Jude cause.
