Jason's Party goes platinum

 

Jason Aldean's fourth album, My Kinda Party, has been certified platinum for shipments of 1 million copies. He released the album in November, with the title track as its first single. The album's current single is "Don't You Wanna Stay" with pop star Kelly Clarkson. With the platinum certification, Aldean's career sales have reached 5 million. He will launch his 2011 My Kinda Party tour on Friday in Little Rock, Ark., with guests Eric Church and the JaneDear Girls.
