Dierks says no

 

It looks like John Rich won’t be getting his wish! Rich, a former “Celebrity Apprentice” winner, had hoped for Dierks Bentley to represent country music on the hit NBC show. Although Dierks was flattered by Rich’s support and an invitation from the show, he has respectfully declined the opportunity. “I was actually asked,” Dierks told Seattle’s KMPS radio (via The Boot.) “I considered it for a long time, and I was flattered to be asked. But at the end of the day, I love playing music — it’s what excites me creatively.”
