Tim, Brad and Taylor nominated for touring award

Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley and Taylor Swift headlined concert tours which have been nominated at the 2010 Billboard Touring Awards. AC/DC, Bon Jovi and U2 dominated the list of nominees announced Wednesday, but the three country tours are the only ones in the "top package" category devoted to tours with three or more artists on the bill. The award recognizes "synergistic packaging and value offered to consumers." The awards, to be presented in New York City on Nov. 4, are primarily based on global box office revenues from Oct. 1, 2009, through Sept. 30, 2010.
