Stars get together for Slave Lake

Alberta's music community is teaming up with the CBC to raise money for the people of Slave Lake displaced by wildfires last month. The Tom Jackson CBC Benefit Concert for Slave Lake will take place at River Cree Casino tomorrow, one month after wildfires swept through the town destroying more than 350 homes and businesses. Other headliners include George Canyon and Johnny Reid, while One More Girl, PEAR and Traveling Mabels will also perform. The concert will air on CBC-TV June 16th at 8 p.m.
