Darius will be honored by the CMA

Darius Rucker will receive the “Triple Play Award” from the Country Music Association tomorrow (10/14). The award recognizes Rucker for three consecutive No. 1 hits in a 12-month period (“Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It” in October 2008, “It Won’t Be Like This For Long” in March 2009 and “Alright” in August 2009). Past “Triple Play Award” recipients include Shania Twain, Toby Keith, and Alan Jackson.
