Sugarland named as defendants

Sugarland could face lawsuits in the wake of the Indiana stage collapsetragedy that killed seven people last month. One month after the accident, notices have been sent to the attorney general’s office by the family of 22-year-old Jennifer Haskell who died six days after the rigging fell.  Those notices not only blame the State of Indiana, concert organizers and contractors, but for the first time in clear language, names Sugarland and its employees as defendants in the stage collapse.
