Martina changing the Opry pink

 

Martina McBride is teaming up with Women for the Cure to turn the Grand Ole Opry pink on Saturday, October 22. The partnership is part of the Opry Goes Pink event, in which the famed music venue will open its doors for a night of awareness and fund raising for the fight against cancer. McBride is known for her cancer research activism; in fact, her current hit "I'm Gonna Love You through It" sends a message to those afflicted with, or otherwise affected by, the disease.
