George buys a golf course

 

The King of country music, George Strait, and long-time friend Tom Cusick have joined forces to transform the 250-acre Tapatio Springs Golf Resort in the Texas Hill Country near Boerne, some 20 miles northwest of San Antonio. The transaction closed April 1. Financial details were not disclosed. Tapatio Springs was founded in 1981 and today has 27 holes of golf, a resort hotel, over 20,000 square feet of convention and meeting facilities, tennis, swimming and a fitness club.
