SHANIA AS AN IDOL JUDGE?

Jennifer Lopez has been non-committal about returning to the judge’s table for a second season of ‘American Idol.’ So, apparenlty the show's producers aer making a preemptive strike. PopEater reports that they're looking for a possible replacement for her and one name that keeps coming up is Shania Twain. ‘American Idol' is credited with resurrecting Lopez’s somewhat sagging music career, but Twain is on her way back up the music business ladder after a lengthy hiatus. She's just returning to performing and to the public eye with her recent reality show ‘Why Not? With Shania Twain’ and her book ‘From This Moment On.’  She might not need the publicity, but with the 2 finalists from last years Idol both being country singings, you have to figure the Producers would like to get a country star on as a judge.
