Carrie is a hero

 

Carrie Underwood rescued an injured puppy while in Nashville over the holidays. The country-pop star was driving along the highway on her way back to Nashville after visiting her parents when she saw two Labrador retrievers by the side of the road. She stopped to check on them and found that one had died, while the other had sustained injuries but was still alive. Underwood took the live dog to an animal hospital emergency room (where the puppy was treated for road rash).
