RECYCLED BOTTLES BUILD A BULLET PROOF HOUSE!

Recycling plastic bottles is cool.  Recycling plastic bottles into fleece vests? Pretty darn cool.  Recycling plastic bottles into bulletproof houses? THAT's Get-a-grip-COOL!!  Nigeria's first house built from discarded plastic bottles is proving a tourist attraction!  The bottles, packed with sand, are placed on their side, one on top of the other and bound together with mud.  For those spearheading the project, it's the environmental benefits that are most important, but yes, it's bullet-proof'!  Compacted sand inside a bottle is nearly 20 times stronger than bricks, they're even intending to build a three-storey building.  Twenty-five houses, which will be available to rent, and a school are being built on land donated by a businessman and environmentalist.
